In roughly the same boat so to speak. Looking for larger, stable and power-able animal hauler that I can through the kids in. Liking both of the powerboat plans, maybe leaning towards the mini skiff just for ease of paddling. If I'm hauling a big floppy deer I'd prefer a little more beam.

About to finally finish up a Sabalo 12. Used cheap plywood so varnish not really a great option. Want to go camo as I could potentially use the boat against the local waterfowl population. I see a lot of people just make stencils and rattle-can boats. I don't care for the look as the level of finish...

Any thoughts on this stuff?

Ordered plans for the Sabalo 12 this morning. Time to replace the Malibu Mini-X I (stupidly) sold before moving to Atlanta. The -12 should be a big improvement though. Few questions about it: 1) 4mm ply vs 1/4" - Is the 1/4" going to be too thick? I have an okay source of decent 1/4",...
