Delays and interruptions

I've got my hull built, but not glassed. I've got my deck assembled, sanded and glassed. (I deviated on the deck and built a stripped red cedar and redwood deck) My wife's health has taken a turn, so I'm not sure when I'll be able to pick up and re-start on this thing.
My question is, what do I need to do when I start back up? Should I wipe the epoxied areas down with something before I proceed with glassing the hull?
I've been hearing things about amine(sp?) blush, but have no idea what it is or what effect it has on successive coats of epoxy. Anyone out there ever had to set a project aside for a while and then come back to it?

Sorry to hear about your wife. Hope she's feeling better soon.

For the hull, I'd do a moderate scrubbing with acetone and a bristle brush over any epoxy that has sat more than 72 hours.

Nothing extreme. Just enough to ensure any possible waxy amine blush that has built up is removed.

Real sorry to hear about your wife mate. Hope all works out for you both.

Re your hull -

If it is marine ply - no problem. just leave it till you are ready to resume work.

If it is some sort of cheaper stuff, and you can spare the hour or so, I would apply an epoxy saturation coat to the bare surfaces, just to help stop them from absorbing moisture from the atmosphere.

Thanks Mick,
I've already saturated the hull on both sides. The outside has been sanded and is ready to glass, just lack the time right now.
