Sasquatch fishin & crabbing in the mangroves.

G'day guys.
I have been busting to take my canoe up here ever since I built her. My Okwata and Laker are superb fishing kayaks but more and more, I am being drawn by the lure of the single blade and a canoes wonderful ability to take a lot of stuff AND a paddling/fishing partner.
This creek is very shallow at low tide, hence no stink boats
and even with Sasquatches remarkable ability to float in very shallow water, sometimes one just has to get out and walk.

Miss Evie, very kindly took most of the images. this is one of me about to set one of the collapsable crab pots.

We paddled and fished for a few hours

Her first ever canoe caught bream

and a bit later

mud spiders!

Matt, we both love this boat.
thank you again

and just for good measure, a pretty nice sunrise taken from the camp site,
