frame material

What demention should the frames be made from. Can I use the 4 mm ply that I am using for the boat or should it be 1/2 to 3/4 inch ply?

the 4mm can be used.

My last build I used some 9mm MDF I didn't want to waste my ply and I had some of this lying around (as you do...)
