JEM Watercraft

Working on my laker over the weekend it occurred to me...if I wanted a natural finish, how to you eliminate the seams showing through? Since th fiber glass is transparent it would seem that the fileted seams would show up. Am I missing something? I have seen pics of other boats that did not have this.

What you've have likely seen is seam that were made very small and with filler the closely matched the color of the wood.

Being my first build, I am going to plan on paint I think....good idea?
