Biaxial nonwoven vs standard weave fiberglass?

Anyone have experience or advice on using nonwoven biaxial fiberglass for their stitch and glue plywood canoe/kayak/pirogue etc? I've searched Q'uestions and Comments' and 'Builder Log' for biaxial and got only three hits, each barely a whisper.
My only fiberglass cloth experience is with standard weave six oz cloth. I'm considering switching to the six oz nonwoven biaxial (with No mat) because the (trusted) vendor says it's stronger and stiffer than same weight woven, and because I've heard/read that it is much more sharp corner friendly too over seams and stems.
I sure would appreciate anyone of you all sharing about your experience with biaxial fiberglass tape or full width sheets. Thanks.
