As a fairly new grandfather,(only three as of yet), a boat like this is peaking my curiosity.

I'll keep the same lines but it will be stitch and glue construction. No ribs every 8". I'll have 4 ribs total but they will be more like open frames than ribs.

So it won't be an exact replica, but I think it's pretty darn close and can be built for for about 1/3 of the price and done in less than 1/3 of the time.

Your going to use glass to strengthen the hull?

Should be a neat boat - look forward to seeing the final product

Matt, Have you done any more work on this boat? Not trying to rush you. I don't know for sure if I would ever build it, but am still thinking about it.

lol... this is why I don't have a "on the drawing board" page. It's still on the "to-do" list. But not much progress.

They are meant for speed, not stability.
