Welcome to the forum.

For supplies in Ontario, Noah's Marine http://www.noahsmarine.com should take care of you well.

As for the canoe, what's the weight range you intend to have on board? Paddling experience? Prefer speed or stability?

the estimated weight would be around 450lbs,I have some experience at canoeing, and I would say stabilty would rule over speed, also it would'nt be used in any real fast water or rapids
