A nice surprise
A few days ago I ordered some books off Amazon, one was Valerie Fons book about doing the 24oo mile trip with Verlan Kruger.
I just received the book a used one.
Wow it is a hardback everything just like new as I opened it I got the best surprise there was a newspaper clipping from 1987 with pics and an interview of Valerie and Verlen and also a handout they gave for there route on the trip and notes about it.
Then another surprise it was autographed by Valarie Jan !8 !987 and was in Terra Haute In.
Maybe all this is telling me I need to start the new boat the North Wind Humm Good an excuse as any

Never met Valerie. Met Verlen, his first and fourth wife (same lady), and know his other wife well. While he may not have read women well, he could read water very well.
