JEM Watercraft

I am making the free dk touring canoe. i was planning on painting it and was wondering what the best paint was to use for something like that and if i could get it from the local home depot or lowes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

latex porch paint work real nice.

I've had great results with Rustoleum alkyd enamel. It is VERY slow to dry, but has held up as well or better than the gel coat on my manufactured FG canoe.
