I've been snowed in a couple days now so I was able to get a good start on my Sasquatch. This is my first build and so far I'm having a blast. I'm not posting a lot of details since I am a beginner and wouldn't want any other newbies picking up my bad habits.
Loosely stitched together.
I haven't started my first yet (have the plans, glass, and epoxy though) and I already have 4 in queue! I think the one your working on will be my second one.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese in the trap !!!
Dan, that's looking Great! You're doing a top job. If this is your first build, Mate I look forward to seeing what you produce when you get some experience
Your build is brilliant so far. I built the prototype of this boat ad i just can't say how pleased I am to see more of them being built.
Sas 16-33 is in my opinion, the finest stitch and glue open canoe design - in that size range, available. You are going to bloody love this boat mate. They are fast, stable and a joy to paddle with absolutely no bad habits
Thanks guys for the kind words. It's been a joy so far. I'll try to post more pictures this weekend if I can find the time to get more done on it. We are having a 13th birthday party for my grandson tomorrow and I have been elected to barbecue some ribs.
Since this is my first build I went with cheap luan plywood from Lowes. The decks where made from some ash I had left over from another project the same as the white oak I am using for the gunnels. I will try to get some more pictures posted tomorrow.
