Hi,
Just thought I would share a couple of pics taken after my first dive off the kayak, it went quite well. A couple of things to improve, my flag kept falling over and I need a better ways to store my sunglasses.

Looks good Plug.
You need to go to a chandlers & get a rod holder to fit in the deck behind you seat beside the round lid to take you flag.

Pete,
The problem was with the pole itself, I made it out of PVC pipe and set it up to fold like a flexible tent pole. I used push on connectors that would pop apart when the wind got hold of it. I think I have fixed it by swapping the push on connectors for screw types. I will test it again this weekend weather permitting.

Well I now have 3 Dives from the Kayak under my Belt, Matt the Sabalo is easy to paddle, very stable and handles all the scuba gear nicely. I can't believe I didn't do this years ago.
