And ... G’day, Hairymick! Fair dinkum mate! I too agree that this is another lovely Jem Watercraft boat under the (Patagonian) Southern Cross – he he.
Cheers, from the other Down Under!
Questions and comments. I'm hoping you'll get rid of that hand sander for sheet rock and get yourself a real, random orbital sander. Best present you can get yourself.
May I ask if, with a bit of hindsight in your pocket now, would you extend those crossways 2 X 4's on out to the far edge of each pontoon for greater strength of joint? And maybe an extended deck?

I spent most of my money on whiskey and women - and I'm afraid I just wasted the rest.
Once again from Mar del Plata, Argentina, I’d like to show you albums #7 and 8 with the latest photos taken of my pontoon boat (designed by Matt), navigating along the “albufera” (meaning small sea, coastal marsh or wetlands) of Mar Chiquita... and a device on wheels I made for an easier transition into the water.
Ron, thanks for your message!
A few people have told me that a mast and sail would make it look like a Hobie Cat... I’m thinking of putting a windstopper on her or using some sort of waterproof cover so I can sleep on/in it, although I will have to consider the weight issue.
