Mornin';
....I'm fed up with my current project. So I'm starting my WadeFish 15 project (need a boat for Cobia/Shark season). Of the people who have built the WadeFish or the Sabalo, is there any suggested changes. Things that could be better. I have a few minor changes in mind (ie,....flush mounted hatches, using earth magnets as latching devices, each is 1/2" dia. x 1/8" thick, with 6 lb holding strength each, ). I really want to hear suggestions. Thanks

Rudder on WF-15
Matt, I'm in the pre-planning stage of having the option of installing a rudder. I want to use foot-pegs from a rudder manufacturer that could be converted to rudder-duty if I feel I need it. I also plan to flush-mount the rudder support so that only the foot rests are exposed. Have you researched which rudder models would best match the WF-15? Chris

Good to go Matt. Hooked up PayPal, this mornin'.
So in the progression, ....started with "Sabalo", then the WadeFish, then Micks's WadeFish, then the Double WadeFish, then the WadeFish2 (with Mick's suggestions) that DangerMouse is building from a kit. Is this one the same as DangerMouse's, or yet another version? Not that it makes a difference, just curious to the evolution.
Good to go Matt. Hooked up PayPal, this mornin'.

PLEASE ....
Pardon my stupidity but I have to ask this simple question.......
What or which or whatever is a a Hoot-a-gator 8.14 ?
The only gators I have ever given a hoot - about were over 12 feet and if they were as long as my boat ( a minor 4 feet more) then I give them a wide berth and talk to them in gentile terms and a soft voice when paddling.
Nice gator , just stay right where you are , I am not going to hurt you , see I am paddling way over here on this side of the river so please don't have me for supper.
We like the same thing , the same river and there are some nice soft , tender , over fed Yankees behind me you would like a lot better then this hard shelled , tough , boney and stringy , grit fed , ole cracker.
Now if he is laying there picking his teeth and burping , I just paddle by and pretend he is not around.
A person should never acknowledge bad manners , just pretend they never happen and continue on.

Good one "OldSparkey". Yea, it's like when my buddies and I are out paddlin', and run up on a big gator. I'll stop and put on my nice set of Paddlin' gloves. My buddies laugh and ask, if I think the gloves will help me out paddle the gator. Then I just laugh, "Shoot, I don't have to out paddle the gator. I just have to out paddle you."
