Seat support or brace?

Post by john the pom »

Question for Matt. The seat support in Mick's Laker, are they necessary for bracing the boat, or simply a means of covering centre join and demarking position of seat? I ask this 'cos I'm thinking of doing a seat that would be braced lengthwise on the hull. If I do that should I reinforce the area where it contacts the hull?
Regards John.

That seat brace is there for convenience and an added feature of the pay-for plans. You could install your own version any way that works for you.
